Brought in a $130,000 3-week old car that I had discovered a big oil leak on. Short notice visit, as was urgent obviously. No loaner available, no offer of rental. Dealership asked me to drive it home 150kms until they could provide me with a loaner. I didnt deem it safe to drive it with a major issue, so another dealership stepped in and offered to sort me a Nissan rental, as I had to get home 150kms away. One leak turned into a 6-day job, due to complications, and I was impressed the mechanics really did want to get the car 100% fixed. Dealer then offered to bring vehicle to my house for me, then retracted offer. No call from service manager at all. No apology. Being in a Nissan for a week when I have just handed over $130,000 for a brand new car is not right, but dealership made it clear this wasnt their problem, and it was very much my fault for buying a dud car. No ownership of the problem, or accountability shown. Told my sales guys at dealership on day 2, and this did nothing to change the situation. Final straw: when I had originally taken the car in, assuming it would be a quick fix, I had asked them to fit a $50 license plate mount that I was happy to pay for. Then, after 6 days without my vehicle, and no loaner etc from the dealership, and no apology, they sent me an invoice to pay the $53 for the license plate holder. TWICE. New levels of nickel and-diming, and clearly no idea how to instil loyalty in a customer. Will switch out of the car asap (and accept the loss), as I do not wish to ever visit the dealership again. Good mechanics let down by a terrible customer experience. Shame on you.
Had a bad experience with my first maintenance visit. I detailed my vehicle the day before I took it in for service. When the service consultant told me my car was ready I looked outside and saw mud on the tires. I asked him if they took it for a road test and he said " Yes on the gravel road". I dont drive my new Mercedes on gravel roads and I didnt expect the dealer would either. When I went outside and took a closer look it was obvious they drove it through mud puddles. He knew I was angry and asked me if I wanted them to wash it but I declined the offer saying I will wash it myself. I am not upset that they didnt wash it (to hide the evidence) before returning it to me but I am furious that this is the way they road test your vehicle.
I bought a trim part from the parts department, and when I went to a body shop to have it installed, it turns out it was the wrong piece. I had to pay labour fees for a part that was not installed. I brought my issue up to the parts manager, Mike Vercammen, and he was extremely understanding and apologetic. He offered to exchange the part for the right one and to install it for free. This is what I call great customer service. These people value their customers and respect their business commitments. Thank you MBDT!
Excellent and very professional customer service experience overall. Mike Jennings did a great job quarterbacking everything for me. I purchased my vehicle from DT MB and continue to take it there for service despite living 3 hrs drive away. The service I experienced today was worth the drive. They were able to change and balance my tires, repair rock chips on my windsheild and complete a full detailed clean of the vehicle all by 1500h. Keep up the great work!
Rude, service especially from their "vendor relations manager". I will never return to this dealership. Just out for the almighty dime and told us they are not interested in our business. Lonestar has stepped up to the plate and are more than willing to make things right and regain our confidence in Mercedes. Downtown Mercedes couldnt be bothered..... shame really but I guess we are not worth their time.
Brought my w204 there and paid $125 for noise diagnose. The result shows the noises coming from front cross struts but its still making noises when the car is idling only. So I brought my car to two other euro mechanic shops for diagnose again and they both shows that the noises coming the rack and pinion gear and power steering pump.
Mercedes Downtown Calgary offers top-notch service. Theyre service department staff are caring, attentive and seem to know every heart beat of my Mercedes. I only service my vehicle w/Mercedes this keeps my vehicle moving smoothly for a long time. They communicate precisely what work needs to be done & expectation for future service!
I have owned several Mercedes through the years. Hyatt Mercedes always has had outstanding customer service and most aggressive pricing in Alberta When we financed vehicles they also had the best interest rates .. Will purchase another Mercedes in next few weeks .. I just want to thank you guys for taking care of me and my family..
Absolutely great experience!!! The staff at Hyatt made myself and my family feel important. Any questions I had were answered immediately. With a busy schedule I found them very acomadating they always made sure they made time for us. Highly recommend purchasing through them for the same great experience.
One of the few dealers that actually know my name and not just how many brown bills are in my wallet. Friendly staff know my vehicles and take time to explain whats going on. Overall a great service provider. Very close to downtown which makes regular maintenance a breeze.
An outstanding dealership. I bought a used GLK250 (2014) and I found the dealership to be honest and helpful. Walter is great guy, very reassuring and easy to communicate with. I will certainly return to the dealership when its time for the G-class
mine is three year old, around 40,000KM, the both front break rotors had to be replaced. the service rep says thats the way MB cars do. does it mean MB get low quality parts and worn out more faster than others? ridiculous.
Another year that I bring my Sprinter in for annually check up. The service is great, fast and convenient, shuttles are great. The room of improvement is the front line peoples attitude.
Much better than Heritage Valley (Weber) in Edmonton. I am from Edmonton and I got both my Mercedes from this dealership. Their service is good too
Waited 2 hrs for a 1/2 hr job Didnt fix the problem Plastic and cardboard not removed The bill said complimentary car wash, not done
My go to dealership. Great people and great cars. Always going above and beyond to cater to my needs and busy schedule.
