Have never experienced such a lack of pride of workmanship. Took substantially longer than originally quoted 5 to 10 business days and ended up well over a month. Tried to pick up truck twice once the entire back seat was soaked due to reusing old seals in back window and 3rd brake light. second time the sunroof was not set properly and rubbing the roof. my box cover was just left in the box which I had to bring up to get it installed in the truck. truck was disgusting on the inside if I tapped the headliner dust would come pouring out and everything else was covered in dust, brought this up and nothing was done. after the sunroof and back window seals were fixed I picked the truck up. once getting it home noticed they didnt bother replacing some things that should have been done under the insurance claim(mirror caps and trim) also 2 small dents in the truck that were not there when truck was dropped off, sunroof made terrible wind noise on the highway and Bluetooth microphone was not working. took the truck in and they denied they had anything to do with the dents but got the insurance company to pay for them to be fixed. after all these issues fixed and another 2 weeks without my truck I went back to pick it up. wind noise from the sunroof never got any better truck had 2 scratches on the back drivers side door, they buffed one out but denied that they had anything to do with it. another paint chip that was on the front top of the box, nothing was done about this. Took truck back again to try for them to get the wind noise from the sunroof fixed and they still failed to do this after 3 tries. Wanted to write this so that anyone that takes pride in the way their vehicle looks and gets treated doesnt have to go through what I did.
My story is very long so i will leave out specific details. I had an accident and needed to bring my ram 1500 in. I picked them because they are local and my insurance company guaranteed there work. I brought my truck in and it took a very long time for them to finish. They called me saying the work was complete. I get there and the bumper is was WAY out. I couldnt believe they even called me to look at it. I could see an inch gap on one side and a 16th of an inch on the other. They told me it is impossible to level off. They tried to fix it and said it was impossible because it was a dodge. I phoned my insurance company and they sent a guy to see what was wrong. He had them fix the bumper perfectly in 10 minutes. I had been arguing for almost a week just to have them fix that bumper. I still didnt accept the work and we brought it to Sherwood Dodge instead. The LIST of other problems they found was ridiculous and should have been fixed. Including half a dozen bolts that attach the body to the truck. This work took so long that my insurance vehicle ran out. I had even downsized to a small car just incase that would happen even though i was covered for a pick up truck. I truly cant think of one thing i liked there. Quality was poor. Service was poor. Speed was poor. It was always an argument about what was not fixed with the vehicle.
RO#037143 My name is David , I came to Fort Saskatchewan Auto Body with a large paint chip on my wifes Ford Fiesta , the damage was on the passenger side rear door . Frank Langford was the Estimator he welcomed me in offered my a drink and asked me questions regarding the car information , I was finished with him in 15 minutes . I dropped the car off and I received a ride from the owner back to my home , we shared the life on the farm and his family found him to be very open and honest as he said they were a tight nit family business. 2 days later I was told that the car was ready to go. I asked to be picked up and I was given a ride to the shop and it was close to quitting time but that was no problem , I also had opportunity to here positive stories as she said she was there 20 years and enjoyed her job. The work that was don on the care was very professional and the car was clean. The experience was hassle free quick and friendly I would recommend Fort sask auto body to any one. I also looked around for the price I was given and they were in the ball park. Thanks fort sask auto body for the experience. They earned my Five star rating.!!!!! David.
The staff at Fort South auto body was excellent. Friendly and efficient They took care of all of my needs. My car went in, in very bad shape from Motor vehicle accident. They stored my car for over a month in their lot without charging me a thing until my insurance company decided on their actions. They did an amazing job rebuilding my car to the way it was before the accident. The time that they took to repair all the damages was only in a matter of weeks I had it back before I expected it. I was a little bit wary about getting it back after such a major accident Hearing horror stories from other people that the car is never the same. Well rested sure my car was in excellent condition just like driving off the lot with a brand-new vehicle again. I was very impressed thank you Mike and Bennett you guys have gone beyond my expectations. We definitely will be back and recommend to anyone The Quality and service that your company has provided
Marie - Invoices 037674 and 37716 I came in for a small insurance claim and a much larger warranty problem. With Enterprise rental next door, it really helped me to get on my way while my vehicle was being worked on. The insurance claim repair turned out great. The warranty issue was a much larger item to deal with and I have to say that the shop did a great job on this work. The only small snag was that one work order for some additional work got missed, so I had to re-book the vehicle in to complete the rest of the work. The additonal work was completed about one week later. It turned out great and the team went over and above to return a great-looking vehicle back to me. Thank you.
I took my car in after a fender-bender. They said they had the parts in, when they actually didnt a week later when I called to check on my car. My insurance paid for the car, took over two weeks to get it back. Once I got it back, I couldnt even lift the driver side wiper blade because the hood was still messed-up. They couldnt get their story straight about my car parts being in, kept it for an insane amount of time and didnt even fix it properly. Not going back
Finally after the fourth time and getting the insurance company involved again my truck is repaired! The color matches and the door closes! This is the way it should have been done the first time. Except for the rear bumper which was installed lopsided. Took it back to show them but told him Id straighten it myself and it would be done right. Would I go back? No. And if asked for my opinion I would tell people to stay clear or really check the repairs closely.
