Well, in the market to buy a 75" 4K TV and soundbar, the sales guy was helpful; let me fully demo the LG / SAMSUNG units on the floor. I thoroughly enjoyed the LG and am committed to it, once the quote was made up with all of the ++ features (warranty, stand etc.) the total was expensive as I expected. Now I asked the sales manager or supervisor to work with me on the pricing and he began doing so, showing me costs and blah blah blah we arent making any money which is a farce because if you know these companies they all have internal costs and external costs (external we can see); internal costs we are not privileged to see but thats fine because I understand they have to make money and they wouldnt be in this business if the costs were $20-$50 over the "landed costs" they claim and show the customer. Furthermore, I wasnt able to pick up the TV today anyways as the TV was in South Edmonton and I would have to go pick it up. I asked the sales guy to just quickly put all of the options we had discussed at the time on the quote and let me come back in the morning to finalize. Sales Manager had a complete bird when I asked this and directed all of his discontent with me to the salesman RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Couldnt believe it, I made a couple hours available for this store (as I live in the Park) and was committed to doing the deal (as I gave all of my other Visions business to the Edmonton South location) but Sherwood Park just proved to me that I will never shop there. I have gone in there multiple times looked at equipment and figured maybe this time I will give them the business, shop local and all of that. If you want seamless no hassle, no frills attitude; then go to Edmonton (I have bought all my TVs, car stereos, home theatre etc from here - THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!). If you want to be made like theres no validity to what you need and or want - then go to Sherwood Park. Down to the nitty gritty, the supervisor made me feel guilty for asking the bare minimum and I wont be treated like I owe the store something.
If I could give my experience(s) less than one star I would. I made a point of going in to make an appointment to have my car stereo fixed(troubleshoot) under warranty. I was told they needed to look at it first( and charge me of course) before they could send it away to clarion under warranty. I dropped my car off the night before the service date and was told my car would be back to me guaranteed before 7pm. @noon the day of my appointment I called to check in and was told the work has been completed(fuses were changed and everything was good to go). When I came to pickup my vehicle at 6 pm the sales guy (backed by the manager) went back and fouth between telling me they had fixed my car or that they hadnt touched it (my car had not moved when I checked). Eventually they finally admitted that they wouldnt look at it, then made an excuse as to why they didnt need to its obviously the deck, and no we wont sent it in or take it out we dont do that. Eventually admitting that they will send things in under warranty to clarion (back to square one) but that now I had to take out the deck and that they could not book me in for any appointments within the month. They made no effort to give me a makeup appointment. The last guy I dealt with to attempt to make it up tried to give me the means to receive cost +10% on anything in the store(some redeeming quality here) LONG STORY SHORT they wasted my time on 3 trips to visions, provided me with 0 service lied to me multiple times, and treated me like an idiot in all manners Also I just called back with a different number and they told me they could book me in for just over a week from now. (compared with over a month from now like they told ME in person
I had an issue with my deck in my car, I went to make an appointment for 10am. When my appointment date arrived i showed up at 10, gave them my keys and waited, watching a movie they were playing. I sat there for an hour, and my car still did not move. I spoke to the guys at the car audio as to why my car hasnt moved and there reply was, "our installer makes his own hours" what kind of business is ran where someone for 1 thing makes there own hours? And is not prepaid to work on a customer vehicle when it was booked for 10am. (When the store opens) I made a complaint with the manager, he went back to talk to the guys, he returned only to say "the guys said you had till noon before you needed your car" I shook my head in pure anger and demanded my money back. (The 78 dollars they charge just to look at your car) The fact that they had me sit there for an hour before my car was even looked at, and told I how my schedule was working. I had to be at work at noon, the manager said they could have it done by noon, I said you dont understand I work AT noon. I stopped the argument and continued to the front to get my money. Im not even done. So the return of my money was no issue but then one of the installers has the nerve to stare me down with a look of arrogance and unprofessionalism, as if he wanted to fight. I stared back in disbelief and I couldnt believe how much disrespect this company showed to a long time customer. I personally will never shop at this store again.
Had two high end head units installed in my trucks at Visions in Sherwood Park. I must say I was very unhappy, not only with the quality of the installs, but with the service and communication from the Car Audio manager and employees. I had to bring my one truck back twice to get them to hook up the AUX and USB connections to the factory ports on my Super Duty, while it was in there I also wanted them to figure out why the stereo would randomly turn on and off with the interior lights switch when the truck was off, I was told the wrong harness was used initially and that they installed the correct one. But the problem never did get fixed. Also had them wire in a powered Bazooka Bass Tube, and told them to use whatever shop supplies and kits required, they didnt, they instead wired the 12v supply directly to my 2000W inverter that was hardwired, no in line fuse, nothing. Had to later install it properly myself when I sold the truck and took out the inverter. Such a frustrating experience. Will never use Visions in Sherwood Park for car audio. They said they pride themselves on "being professional installers" they were anything but. Could have paid a high school kid $20 and a case of beer to do much better work. Have since found other, much better install shops in Sherwood Park.
Was at this location on boxing day. The General manager Hugh . Is a great guy treated me good and gave me a great deal on a 65 also a 40 grand. 2 days later I went in around closing time. it was pretty much empty with only myself and maybe 3 other people. All the employees were just standing around watching me .not one of them acknowledged that I was there nor did I even get a hello. I mind you the general manager was gone home by this time and it was the assistant in charge ï belive. Anyways I stood around walking from tv to tv trying to figure out if I should purchase another 65. About 25 minutes into this in had a WHITE friend come in and walk towards me. I asked him to walk around and pretend he didnt know me.. not even 1 minute later my friend got a "HEY HOWS IT GOING" ï then pulled out $3000 cash out of my pocket to show my friend what I had brought to spend on another tv. At this time one of the employees had seen my money and instantly said "hey no ones helped you yet?". This got me so mad instantly returned everything I had previously bought and will most likely never go there agian(ï say most likely because I have to talked to the Gm about my experience ). This is 100% racism being ï am a coloured male. Very unprofessional employees..
