These guys are awesome! I bought my truck in October and it had a new transmission put in it 10,000km previous in June. When I bought the truck I noticed it was shifting hard but thought it was nothing after taking it to a different transmission shop and them telling me it was all good. I drove it for around 11,000km and happened to be driving through Kamloops one day and figured Id stop in to see if they could tell me why it was shifting hard and whether the warranty on the transmission was transferable. After talking with them for a bit they told me the warranty was unfortunately not transferable but they ended up taking my truck for a short test drive anyhow. When he got back I was told it was shifting unusually hard but they would make it right the next time I was in the area! I booked it in for 2 weeks ahead when I was coming through town again and upon arriving they brought it into their shop immediately! Fast forward 4-5 hours and they had the truck shifting like it should have from the beginning and didnt charge me a dime! They took the time and effort out of their day to talk to me and walk me through exactly what was going on with the transmission and everything! I would highly recommend these guys after the positive and amazing customer service I got from these guys!
Quoted me something around $1600 to fix my truck after they had looked inside the transmission, and ended up charging me close to double ~ $3000. Arguing did nothing to help and it wasnt worth towing it somewhere else so I ate it. The day I took it home (to a hockey game first actually). I come out to a huge puddle of tranny oil. Super impressive. Even after that was fixed the truck always had this noise from time to time that came from the transmission. Sold the truck a year afterwards so not sure if it ever held up. Would rather have a backyard mechanic do the work than these guys.
Glenn has serviced the tranny on my 04 Sierra 1500 for over 10 years, it just clicked over 400k and still going strong. I expect my 12 Silverado to last just as long. I do my own brakes and oil changes but I only trust Glenn and his team for any drivetrain work on my trucks and general performance and maintenance issues they can do it all.
Called in for a quote on a clutch, told me they would need to test drive my car, so I dropped it off with them and picked it up a few hours later, they ended up doing a full diagnostic test and topping my fluids without my knowledge and ended up charging me $115 for the test and the fluids that I didnt want nor asked for
Fantastic service from fantastic people
