Such a awfull experience. Finacial departnent still holding my cheque which they supposed to return on April 18Th. First they told me that the address they have in their file is not the up to date one. How it could be . Although i update the address many time with them they were not able to get right address. Any way after stressfull waiting and back and fort converstion i was told they were gonna send me a cheuge to my address back of may. I was waiting for the cheque but which never recieved it. After 1 week waiting for the cheque decide to call the dealer. I was told some one from my hosehold refused the cheque. When i was trying to explain them that im the only one who accupied the place no one can refusedtbe cheque. The man on the phone just want to shut me down and saying any way some one refused the cheque and we recieved it back. He also confirm my address agin and he said that they will reissued me a new cheque. I called them back on may 26 or 25 and was tod that they will send it to me on may 29th which i recieved mh cheque with a courier. I deposit the cheque to my finacial institue. After that i recieved a mail from my finacial i stitution which said the cheque was dishonered.the reason was it was stopped. I called the west aouti the finacial manager did not want to talk to me ...kept excusing that he is with another customer ...what about me im not ure customer ? Cause i already got the car and no more more ecceptiob from me? Or he knows they were notable to handle a simple situatin but master of creating a dissaster. He was also accusing me that i deposit the old cheque. What a bad work ethic instead of saying that they messed up again he and hus team is a failure and cause problem again. Andre Tan and his all team are not able to handdl finnacial department just leave it anothe people who have more talent than u. By the way i called him on may 30th i was put on hold abouth an hour after the reciptiknist told me that he already left. Andre what kind of manager are u that u can go home without talking to ur customer who has been on the phone and waiying for u. Reqlly irresponsible ,lack of work ethic u should be holding that position First of all i did not get the cheque right after I informe me. I was sent old cheque by courier and u still claimed that it was the first cheque even though u told me that the rwplacment cheque is delivered to me by courier on May 30. I did my purchase on april 18 and just was able to get my deposit back middle of the june. When i called to express my situation i was blamed and i was shown as lack of capacity person that can not clear the right cheque. Also the manager told me why im leaving a bad reviewstoo doing that cause they all do the correct things. Lmo ...u all suc a ......... I did a bigiest mistake of my life. Beside having my cheque late i also pay 25$ to my bank for bonced cheque. I did not recieved $25 that i had to pay for their fault. U are all the west that shouldn be in bc Such a terrible management terrible team all lack of abbilith people Quit ur job dont throw bad mark on Bmw
Auto West BMW has provided me outstanding experience in their Repair Service Department with my X3. In the past, I have dealt with Park Shores BMW in North Van, and Brian Jessel in Vancouver, so that is my basis for comparison. Heres the synopsis... Park Shores struggled with finding the correct fixes to the motor in the vehicles first 1-2 years of life, and then, in reciprocation for my four years of loyalty (despite the challenges with the repeated engine problems), they gave me terrible service on a warranty issue. I had to go to the manager of the service department, write long letters explaining the situation and lobbying to get it fixed, and then they would not follow through on their promises. Eventually not even return my calls. Unacceptable. Looking for another option, I came to Brian Jessel. I tried several times via phone calls to ask questions about some issues I was having with my vehicle and how they would propose to handle them. The service managers would not call me back. The receptionist was blatantly rude. They certainly do not care to have new clients. This past summer, I brought my car into Auto West BMW in Richmond BC. Wow! I was treated so very well from the moment I stepped inside the building. I had a combination of extended warranty work and regular maintenance to have done on the X3. I was originally served by Lindsay who was very kind, respectful and helpful. This was my first service after the Four Year BMW Factory Warranty had finished, and my first time dealing with a third party extended warranty, so I had a few more questions than usual. Lindsay went on holiday and my file was taken over by Kyle Chen. Kyle was amazing. Very very knowledgeable both in service and warranty issues. He really represented my interests and worked very hard to establish me as a long term client with his dealership. He was also very kind about the large dog I had in tow when we first met, and made sure I knew my k9 companion was welcome in the courtesy car that the dealership provided. Even the mechanic with whom I spoke was helpful and willing to talk to me to address my concerns. So, all in all, Auto West BMW was a fabulous experience on my first visit and has remained amazing for each return visit I have made. Ask for Kyle Chen as he was truly outstanding. I am grateful to have a fantastic place to take my car for repairs...or to upgrade to a new model when the time comes. I know they will take good care of both me and my vehicle. Thanks guys!
I bought a pre-owned x3 last month and Ive waited a while to get a feel of the vehicle before writing this review. Its like a honeymoon...everything looks great and feels great. Just jumped into it knowing of all the great things you hear and see about the vehicle. Well, the honeymoons over and it still looks and feels great. Ive been shopping around these last few months, knowingly that my convertible days of driving are at an end and it was time to think about the practicalities for golf...i mean life. Having to drive the wife and family around. Shopping for groceries and taking weekend outings seem more practical with a large vehicle. I walked into AutoWest BMW the day after I noticed the X3 pre-owned on the website. I made a phonecall to book an appointment to view and test drive this vehicle. I have to say that the likelihood of buying the first car you see is not usually the best decision... However, the factors - the sales rep (Teresa Li) was not pushy and gave my wife and I the time to absorb the information, the demonstration drive and questioning... It was nice to be given time to enjoy the experience: the drive, the questioning and the purchase. The fact that I was happy with the price and value when I walked away...and the sales rep happy to provide the service. Its nice to feel Teresa was not just trying to make the sale because...but we felt she looked after our needs first and that we were comfortable with our decision. I have to say that it was kinda nice to receive a phone call in my first week to see how i was doing with my new pre-owned purchase and getting a letter in the mail by the big boss of AutoWest. This is my first BMW and I can surely say, it wont be my last. Ive enjoyed the overall experience and looking forward to bringing the vehicle in for servicing. Thanks, Teresa Li!
